Delaney is the daughter of Robert Schnell and Cynthia Feaman...She has an older sister, Reilly, and a younger brother, Chase...Delaney began diving at age 10 and was a level 8 gymnast prior to diving...Delaney's favorite dive is 5253B on 10-meter...Delaney has lost several coaches and lost the passion to dive, but says her current coach Dwight Dumais taught her to love the sport again...During competitions, she likes to listen to music, play word games on her phone, and study during long events (40+ diver events)...She loves country music, but her competition playlist varies depending on what's she's feeling in the moment...When she's not training, Delaney enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, piano, cooking, and puzzles...She is a fan of the Harry Potter books and movies, and her dream vacation would be doing a 10-day ring road trip in Iceland...She describes herself as ambitious, goal-oriented and focused...Delaney graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in psychology in 2021 and earned an M.S. in speech-language pathology from Arizona in 2024...She would like to work with adults with brain injuries that affect language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication.
