Personal
Andrew is the son of Michael and Darlene Capobianco...He has two siblings, Matt (his twin) and Christian...He started diving in 2011...He says the hardest part about training is staying consistent and handling fatigue… His favorite dive is 109C on 3-meter...He likes to listen to country music away from the pool and rap music during a meet… Andrew also coaches junior diving ...A former gymnast, Andrew won the level 8 Junior Olympic national title on floor exercise for his age group in 2013...He stopped doing gymnastics at age 14 to focus on diving… As a seventh grader in 2011, Andrew broke a 22-year-old Nassau County (N.Y.) high school diving record...When he is not diving, Andrew enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, tennis and pickleball…Graduated with a degree in exercise science at Indiana University
