Katrina is the daughter of Sean and Carol Young...She has two siblings, Samantha and Eddie...Married to Misha Kofman...Her grandmother, Elaine (Silburn) Young, was a 1948 Olympian in track and field for Canada...In 2013, she made the U.S. senior national team for the first time...A singer-songwriter, Katrina moved to Los Angeles after the Tokyo Olympics to pursue her music career while training for Paris 2024...Katrina began diving at age nine and her favorite dive is 407C...After breaking her right leg across the growth plates in 2007, Katrina worked hard to regain her diving mentality ...During meets she likes to visualize and listen to music...Some of her favorite artists to listen to include Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Adele, Sarah Jarosz, Black Pumas, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, Eminem, and Anderson Paak...One of the moments Katrina remembers most throughout her diving career was competing at the 2005 Junior Pan American Championships in Fort Lauderdale when Hurricane Katrina hit...Her favorite food is a baked sweet potato...Graduated from Florida State with a degree music in 2015...Enjoys the outdoors, hiking, music and languages
