First U.S. female diver to make non-consecutive Olympic teams (2016 and 2024) ... Daughter of Kevin and Laura Cook...Has five siblings: Kevin, Kara, Kelsey, Kylie and Kendall...Kassidy started diving at the age of three, and her sister, Kara, was a diver at Purdue University...She says she is extremely good at Games of Thrones and Harry Potter trivia ...Kassidy narrowly missed making the 2012 Olympic team by .42 points and then was away from competition for two years while recovering from shoulder and knee surgeries before making the 2016 Olympic Team...Has had three shoulder surgeries, one knee surgery and two foot surgeries throughout her career...
