David is the son of Allan (a project manager in construction) and Stephanie (a teacher) Dinsmore and has a younger brother, Matthew...He has been diving since age nine and his favorite dive in 5255B ...He trains five hours a day, five days a week...He had wrist surgery in August, 2014 and wasn't able to get back on 10-meter until February, 2015...His favorite diver is Dmitri Sautin...He likes to listen to electronic dance music in between dives during competition...His favorite food is Skyline Chili.
