Mission Viejo to Host 2025 Junior National Championships

USA Diving and the Mission Viejo Nadadores have announced the 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships will be held in Mission Viejo, Calif.

Competition dates are July 25 – August 3, with July 24 serving as a warmup day for all competitors.   

“We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 USA Diving Junior National Championships will be hosted by the Mission Viejo Nadadores in beautiful Mission Viejo, California. With the Los Angeles Games on the horizon, this event represents a crucial steppingstone for our young athletes, showcasing the future of our sport. The Marguerite Aquatic Complex will undoubtedly provide a world-class venue, and we anticipate this championship will be the highlight of the summer for divers and fans alike,” USA Diving President Lee Michaud said. 

Opening ceremonies will take place on Saturday, July 26 at the Marguerite Aquatic Complex (27474 Casta Del Sol, Mission Viejo, CA 92692).   

“The Nadadores are thrilled to once again welcome the country’s best junior divers to Southern California this summer.  With some notable improvements (additional diving boards) to our beautiful facility, we feel we can offer an even better athlete competitive experience than a few years back,” said Mission Viejo Nadadores Executive Director Dr. Michele Mitchell.   

“The Mission Viejo Nadadores are thrilled to be hosting the nation’s best junior divers from across the country as a prelude to the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Meet planning is in full swing to provide our athletes, families, and the Mission Viejo community a positive experience to remember,” said Nadadores Elite/High Performance Director John Appleman.
